The Great Equalizer

The 24 Hour Day is the Great Equalizer. Everyone gets the same 24-hours. It's what you're DOING with your 24 hours that determines whether you get rich...or whether you get broke.

So, if you're trading time for dollars....well, there's always a limit on how much money you can earn. For instance, if a lawyer bills $200 an hour, a lot of people think that's great. But, the problem is he actually has to SHOW UP to bill those hours. So, the more money he wants...the more time he has to spend NOT doing the things that he wants the money for.

Or take someone who works for a salary. I know lots of people who probably think that it would be a dream-come-true to get a $100,000 salary and a key to the executive washroom. A fancy desk to sit behind. And a business card with a title.

But the people who DO live that life tell me that the rewards are far less than the stress. They're working 50-60 hours a week, they're having to play office politics and they're constantly aware that a corporate downsizing or lay-offs could put their lives into a tailspin.

One such executive told me, "I'm like a rat on a treadmill and I'm running hard to get to a place I don't even want to go."

So, what's the solution?

For me, it was getting into a business where I could LEVERAGE my time.

What's leverage? Here's an example: Archimedes once said that if you gave him a stick long enough and a place to stand...he could move the world. Because when you use a stick to lift something...you can pick up far more than you could without the stick.

That stick gives you LEVERAGE.

And it's the same way with making money. So, with Liberty League, instead of having to do all the work yourself...you've got multiple products, an organization of people who are helping you build your army....and you can earn far more money in a day than you could by yourself.

That's leverage.

At the moment of this writing, I've earned more money today than the average American will earn in the next 6 weeks working at a job they hate.

That's leverage. And that's how you can INCREASE your earnings...and yet work LESS than people who are trying to trade their time for dollars.

I'll say it again: the 24-hour day is the great equalizer. Everyone gets the same amount of time. It's what you DO with that time that determines whether you get rich or whether you get broke.

Are you getting rich? Or are you getting broke?

How are you spending YOUR time?

The Astronaut Farmer

I was looking through some movie trailers today and found one called "The Astronaut Farmer".

The Astronaut Farmer?? What the heck is that?

Turns out it's a new film from Billy Bob Thornton. And it looks pretty empowering. It's about a guy in Texas who has dreamed of going to space so badly that he finally decides to do something about it.

He builds a rocket. And despite threats from NASA, the government and everyone in between...he's made the decision to live his dream.

The movie isn't out yet but the language in the trailer is POWERFUL. Adjust your speakers and listen to this 30-second clip:

If you're not where you can listen right now, here's the quote:
Somewhere along the line, we stopped believing that we could do anything. You'd better know what you want to do. Before someone knows it for you.

Man, that's powerful. Most people go through their entire lives with no plan of their own. They're just fitting into someone else's plan. An employer. A supervisor. A boss.

And guess what they've got planned for you?

Not much.

And that's why you've got so many people driving what they don't want to drive, living where they don't want to live and doing what they don't want to do.

Have you figured out what YOU want in life? Are you doing anything about it? Or are you just going along with someone else's plan?

Here's the truth: you're either living your dreams or you're working for someone who's living theirs.

Find out how Beyond Freedom and Liberty League can allow you to reach a life without limits. Where you really ARE living the life you deserve. Visit http://www.tonyrush.com to request an interview.

Don't be boring in 2007

It's a New Year and another chance to do something amazing with your life.

Read that again. Got it?

2006 is dead. It's history. And unless you're doing something different than you did in 2006...well, 2007 is going to be about the same.

And here's the problem...most people aren't asking the right questions.

I'll give you an example...

Jessica and I just got back from Hawaii. I'm tall enough, vain enough and wealthy enough to pay an extra $3,000 to fly first-class. So, we were eating real food on real plates with real glasses.

The folks riding in coach were on a "buy your food" plan.

Now, the questions they were being asked were: do you want to buy a bag of chips, trail mix, a bag of M&Ms or what looked like a quarter-pound Snickerdoodle sugar cookie?

This is an example of someone being asked the WRONG question. Do you know what happens to people who eat M&Ms for breakfast? Nothing good.

Here's a clue: there's never a right answer to a wrong question.

So, what question should YOU be asking in 2007?

In my opinion, these are all WRONG questions:

-- how can I get promoted at my job?
-- how can I figure out how to save money on childcare?
-- how can I get an extra weekend off?
-- will I get a vacation this year?
-- how can I get more overtime?

Those are stupid questions, in fact. Here are the correct questions:

-- how can I quit my job and make more than my boss?
-- how can I raise my own children instead of paying a 7-dollar=an=hour stranger to do it?
-- how can I have all the free time I want?
-- how many vacations do I want to take this year?
(We took six this past year)
-- how can I never work more than 25 hours a week?

That's what you should be asking. The other questions are for The Herd.

It's 2007 and a new adventure is beckoning you. It's calling you by name. This is your chance to start a new direction in your life or to stay in the same situation you've been in for ages.

I gotta tell you...I KNOW what the next 12 months look like for me and I am JAZZED. It's totally different than what the average people will experience. And it's all a CHOICE.

Think about what most people are spending their time worrying about:

- Their neighbors leaves blew in their yard.
- Their substitute mailman runs a half-hour later than the usual guy.
- Whether they tipped the pizza guy $2 too much.
- Whether or not the dry-cleaner broke a button on a blouse.
- The cashier didn't ring up the "double coupon" on the can of pinto beans.

These people are driving what they don't want to drive, living where they don't want to live and doing what they don't want to do.

Their biggest plan for the weekend is to load up on videos from Netflix or Blockbuster so they can spend all weekend watching TV in a coma and eating Fritos, Cheetos and Doritoes.

Sheesh.

Somebody give me a break.

You don't have time for that crap. Your life is too short.

Wouldn't you rather be thinking about how to make an extra $10,000 a month? Or whether or not your spouse would like the Cartier watch or the Rolex? (Mine bought me the Rolex Daytona....$8k)

So, here's the deal.....

If you want something different, you're going to have to get out of your comfort zone and actually DO something different.

So, to get you started, here are some things you in 2007:

-- Unplug your TV for a month.
-- Get your head into some good personal development.
-- Watch the movie The Secret at least twice a month.
-- Start a business.
-- Get rich.
-- Rescue a pet from the Humane Society.
-- Forgive somebody.
-- Heck, forgive EVERYBODY. Most of all yourself.

You are a powerful, beautiful, wonderful human being who has the ability to create whatever results you want in your life.

And don't let anyone tell you any differently.

But, your quality of life depends on you and what you're going to do with your days.

Read this whole article again.

Save it.

Print it.

Pass it on to someone else.

But, for God's sake....get off your butt and actually go DO something with the life God gave you.

And if you want to work with me and find out how simple it really is to get rich working at home...then give me a ring. I'll give you the details.

But, whatever you do...do SOMETHING.

Your life is calling you. Will you answer?

You know you're doing something right....

You know you're doing something right when you look on the back of the latest issue of The Robb Report magazine and find an ad for a location where you've already been.

This picture is on the back of the January issue of The Robb Report. I took the same picture when I visited St. Thomas myself.

To get to the top of this mountain, you have to take a cable-car from the marina up about 15 minutes. As you can see, the view is amazing. St. Maarten is close by and is just as luxurious.

You know, Liberty League has allowed me to visit a ton of places I would never have visited otherwise. In the last two years, we've been to Cancun, Puerto Rico, Hawaii, Whistler, British Columbia....the list goes on and on. We're going to Australia next -- it's going to be a blast.

Heck, my kids have more stamps in their passports than most grown people. How cool is that?

You should come along. It's just a choice. Get started and watch how much your life changes. Maybe you'll pick up a Robb Report sometime and find a picture of your favorite vacation spot...

Joining Liberty League makes you thin?

Okay, Americans are fat. No doubt about it. Over the years, many people have speculated why.

Some have suggested that the food pyramid is screwed up. Others have accused fast food restaurants citing the typical amount of trans fat in an order of French fries. Still others have blamed thyroid problems, psychological disabilities, and low self esteem.

And while I’m sure that some of these theories do play a part in the rising obesity epidemic, they carefully ignore the main reason.

See if you can make the connection:

A. 61% of Americans are overweight and a whopping 27% are clinically obese.
B. The average American brings home less than $2,200 per month in net income.

Am I the only one who sees the connection? Americans are fat because they're broke. People struggle with their weight because they don't have enough money to stay thin.

And you can prove this to yourself. If you've got $5 in your pocket, you don't have enough money to buy a piece of grilled salmon with a side order of steamed asparagus. But you've got enough to buy a Super-Sized Quarter Pounder meal, don't you?

You can buy a Snickers bar for $.50. But I've never seen a fruit cup for under $3.

Here's another example: go to the grocery store and buy all the stuff you need to make a great salad at home. You're probably going to spend around $30 and the stuff will stay fresh in your fridge for a few days. On the other hand, you could spend the same $30 on macaroni & cheese, Ramen noodles, hamburger helper and Tombstone pizzas and you can buy enough food for a month.

Get clear on this: Hollywood superstars and multi-millionaires aren't wearing size 0 dresses or size 32/34 pants because they have more willpower than you. They're trim and fit because they can afford to hire a personal trainer, someone to cook nutritious meals and spend as much time as they need to working out.

Now, obviously I'm not saying that making a ton of money is going to automatically make you the next Daniel Craig. But, I AM saying that making a ton of money gives you the ability and freedom to take better care of the most important commodity you have: your body.

Being healthy is an investment. And it's not an investment that the average person can make when they're squeaking by from paycheck to paycheck.

And this is why it is VITAL that you get involved in a business where you can have A.) Plenty of money and B.) Plenty of free time.

And Liberty League International is an environment where you can do this. With profits of $1,000 to $8,000 and more and a business plan that involves working only 15-20 hours a week....it's an ideal career for someone who wants to improve EVERY area of their life.

Including your health.

It's 2007. Don't keep killing yourself with your fork. Make some money and get healthy.
