Worst-case scenario?

Someone asked me the other day, "What's the worst case scenario?" regarding Liberty League. This was someone who was asking what kind of results they could expect from following the training that we give all our associates.

Well, there are two answers to the question. I'll give you the mathematical answer first and the "authentic" answer second.

I told this person, "I have no interest in guaranteeing your results. I don't know you. You might be lazy or uncoachable. So, let's find out what you think is reasonable. If we show you how to generate leads and show you exactly WHAT to say and HOW to say it and WHEN to say it....and those people attend the presentation call you heard......how many people do you think will get started with you?"

This person said, "I'd say that I should be able to make a couple of sales per week."

I said, "Great. Here's what that would look like if you got started and purchased the Beyond Freedom course as part of your startup costs."

Week One: You complete 2 sales. Congratulations, you're an Advisor.
Week Two: You complete 2 sales. Congratulations, you are now completely in profit.
Week Three: You complete 2 sales. Congratulations, you have earned $2,000.
Week Four: You complete 2 sales. Congratulations, you've earned a total of $4,000+ for your first month in the business.

Wild, huh? Where else can a person get started in a home business, work a few hours a day and earn $4k in their first month?

By the way, here's what that would look like in the SECOND month if nothing changed:

Week One: You complete two sales. You're already an Advisor so you make $2,000.
Week Two: You complete two sales. You've already recouped your startup costs so you make $2,000.
Week Three: You complete two sales. You've earned another $2,000.
Week Four: You complete two sales. Another $2,000 in the bank.

So, in the SECOND month....even if you did nothing different and you didn't earn any money from the other aspects of our pay plan......you're now earning $8,000 per month.

In your second month in Liberty League.

Where else can someone generate an annualized $100,000 home-based income within their first 60 days?

So, there you go. That was what this guy called the "worst-case scenario" based on him only doing a couple of sales per week.

But that's not the real answer.

The real answer to the question, "What's the worst-case scenario?" is this: that if you don't get started, your life will probably continue to look like it does right now.

We are where we are because of the decisions we made and the actions we took. What actions and decisions will YOU take today to create the life you deserve?

It's all about choice!

What's Up With The Jealousy?

If you've ever done a search on "Liberty League" on the Internet, you probably have seen ads that say things like "Top Earners are leaving" or "Look at this before considering the League". And I wanted to take a moment to address that issue so you have a clear idea of what's happening.

First of all, I love it. :)

Seriously. When I see that nearly every other direct sales company has reps out there who are spending their dollars on the Liberty League name, it's a clear indication that they believe that we're the top dog in the industry. And we are. But, it also means that everytime they run one of those ads, they're actually increasing the value of our name.

Same thing with my own personal name. I did a search of my own name the other day and see that there are a lot of people who spend a lot of money to bid on my name as a way to advertise their business. This used to aggravate me. But now I find it amusing. When you see someone spending money on my name or Liberty League's name.....well, it's easy to see who the commodity is.

And as for "top earners leaving"? Let's see....I AM a top earner. And I know all the top earners personally. And most of them are having record months in the business. They're not leaving or going anywhere. In fact, I'm trying to remember the last time anyone left LLI who was consistently making $20,000 a month. Maybe I'll think of one but I can't so far.

Besides, use your head. If you were working less than 20 hours a week and earning $50k+ every month.....do YOU really think you'd be looking for a new company to join? Nope.

And here's the funny thing about all this jealous advertising: none of these companies are in competition with Liberty League.

Not one.

As far as I know, none of the major direct sales companies are selling anything remotely like the Beyond Freedom Life Achievement course. Or our Liberty and Summit conferences. They're selling travel vouchers. Or financial curriculums. Or resort memberships. Nothing like what we offer at Liberty League.

But, still, I guess it's a little understandable that they'd be jealous.

Take one company, for instance. (I won't mention their name specifically; just that their name includes a green stone and the name of a travel document. :) ) It's no wonder that they feel a bit threatened by what we do.

They just had their annual conferences last week down in Mexico. The attendance?

70 people.

That's right. That's not a typo. They had a whopping 70 people at their conference.

Compare that to Liberty League's events. Over 11,000 people have attended our events in the last 18 months alone.

And I think that's largely because we really do cultivate a culture of community. And it shows.

So, if you're in another company....relax. It's okay. There's plenty of room for everyone. Just focus on building your own product value, offering people a strong pay plan and do the best you can.

No need to be jealous.

Want A Great Recipe For Failure?

If you actually were to assign some "language" to the way most people think, here's what it would look like. And it's a recipe for failure:
I am fed up with this situation I'm in. I'm serious about making a ton of money. I want to start living the life I deserve. I want to get into my dream home. I want to get out of this job and get home with my family. My kids deserve for me to be there. And I want to finally start earning the kind of money I see other people earning. So, I found this great business where people are really earning multiple six-figure incomes and they really look like they're having fun....

...so I think I'll go talk to all my broke friends about it and ask what they think. Then I think I'll get on the Internet and find a discussion forum and ask those people what they think about it even though I don't know them and I have no idea if they've ever been successful in a home business.
Wow. They were really close there for a moment, weren't they? They had the resolve and they had the decision. And then they made the mistake of listening to people who weren't qualified to advise them.

As crazy as that sounds, that is EXACTLY the kind of process that keeps most people stuck in their lives and frustrated with their situations. They cultivate the belief that making money is "hard" simply because they spend their time polling people who aren't any more successful than they are.

The key to success is simple: make decisions and take actions every day that take you closer to your goals, not further away. And the example above is a guaranteed way to stay stuck and frustrated.
